Get Ready For Christmas With These Amazing Stocks!

It’s a short trading week, with the markets operating half-day on Wednesday and being completely closed on Thursday for Christmas.

Now is usually a slower period in the stock market as many people take time off to spend with their families.

But a slow period doesn’t mean we can’t buy stocks!

And these companies are all about Christmas and the holiday season.

One of the first things I think about with Christmas is Christmas cookies.

Decorating them is a lot of fun, but eating them is even better.

If you have time, you can make your own cookie dough from scratch.

However, we’re all busy, so to make it easier, we buy cookie dough from the store.

General Mills (ticker: GIS) owns Pillsbury, one of the leading brands in the cookie dough market.

General Mills operates tons of other food brands, including Chex Mix, Nature Valley, Betty Crocker, Old El Paso, and Annie’s.

General Mills’ profit margin of 15% has never been higher and is one of the highest in the entire packaged foods industry.

Plus, its current price-to-earnings ratio of 9x is one of the lowest around.

My kids are obsessed with Legos, and they aren’t the only ones.

Unfortunately for us, Lego is a private Danish company, so we can’t buy any stock.

But we can still make some money off of Legos by purchasing shares in eBay (ticker: EBAY).

eBay is an online marketplace which allows people to buy and sell products.

And eBay has a huge selection of Lego products to choose from.

Every year, I find myself doing more of my Christmas shopping on eBay…and I’m not the only one.

Over the past decade, eBay has averaged over 12% growth each year in revenue.

Plus, eBay’s Return on Equity (ROE) of 43% is among the highest in the entire internet retail industry.

All of the holiday shopping has me wondering how we are going to pay for all of the presents we give people.

Many people will be using their Visa (ticker: V) credit cards to pay for everything.

Visa is the top credit card processor in the world with almost 40% of the market share.

And if you don’t know what to get someone on your Christmas list, Visa gift cards are very popular.

Visa’s 50% profit margin is one of the highest among large U.S. stocks.

Many people like Visa’s largest competitor, Mastercard (ticker: MA).

But Visa’s debt-to-equity ratio of only 0.66x is significantly lower than Mastercard’s 2.4x.

I’d rather buy the less risky stock.

I hope everyone has an awesome holiday!
